JSW Steel reports 14% rise in consolidated crude steel production in Q1FY26

The company reported crude steel production of 7.02 MT from Indian Operations in Q1FY26 over 6.12 MT in Q1FY25

JSW Steel reported consolidated Crude Steel production for the first quarter of FY 2025-26 at 7.26 million tonnes (MT) as compared to 6.35 MT in Q1FY25, i.e. up by 14% Year-on-Year. However, it was lower by 5% Quarter-on-Quarter primarily due to planned maintenance shutdowns of blast furnaces during the quarter. Post these planned maintenance shutdowns, the blast furnaces have been restarted and operating at optimum capacity levels. Accordingly, the capacity utilisation at Indian Operations stood at 87% for Q1FY26.

The company reported crude steel production of 7.02 MT from Indian Operations in Q1FY26 over 6.12 MT in Q1FY25. JSW Steel USA - Ohio’s crude steel production stood at 0.24 MT in Q1FY26.
