NTPC gains as its arm to commence commercial operation at Unit II 250 MW of Tehri PSP (4X250 MW)

The total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC group will become 82,836 MW

NTPC is currently trading at Rs 344.45, up by 1.25 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs 343.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 343.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs 344.75 and Rs 342.70 respectively. So far 135231 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 448.30 on 30-Sep-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 292.70 on 17-Feb-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 344.75 and Rs 331.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 333177.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.12% and 3.77% respectively.

NTPC’s subsidiary -- THDC India is all set to commence the commercial operation at its Unit II (250 MW) of Tehri PSP (4X250 MW) from July 10,2025. With this, total installed and commercial capacity of THDC India has become 2,747 MW.

Subsequently, the total installed and commercial capacity of NTPC group will become 82,836 MW.
