Afcons Infrastructure surges on declaring as Lowest Bidder by Croatian Motorways for Construction of Roads

The contracts have a combined value of around Euro 455 million

Afcons Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs. 421.60, up by 5.05 points or 1.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 416.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 435.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 440.30 and Rs. 420.70 respectively. So far 352225 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 570.00 on 03-Jan-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 382.40 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 440.30 and Rs. 415.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15480.06 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 30.28% and 19.55% respectively.

Afcons Infrastructure has been declared the Lowest Bidder (L1) in two different packages by Croatian Motorways for Construction of Roads - Package J324/23 and Package - J325/23 in the Republic of Croatia. 

Package J324/23 involves the construction of a 9-kilometer road segment between Rudine and Slano. Package J325/23 covers an 11.5-kilometer section from Slano to Puo Mravinjac. The contracts have a combined value of around Euro 455 million (over Rs 4,535 crore).  Both contracts are expected to be completed within 42 months.
