Currency futures for August expiry trade weaker with 0.26% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 87.6250, weaker compared to its Thursday’s close at 87.58. The rupee opened at 87.56 and touched day’s high of 87.6450 and low of 87.5250.
The August currency futures were trading at 87.6950 with a spread of 0.0100 and a volume of 28,611. The contract opened flat at its previous closing of 87.58. The open interest (OI) stood at 8,77,115 up by 0.26% compared to its previous close of 8,74,831.
