Dalmia Bharat informs about updates
Dalmia Bharat has informed that pursuant to an appeal filed by Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL), wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, the Office of Additional Commissioner of State Tax (Appeal), Dhanbad Division, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, has waived off the entire amount of Interest & penalty, amounting to Rs 4,89,008 and Rs 75,000 respectively, earlier confirmed by an Order of the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, Bokaro Circle, Bokaro, Jharkhand, under Section 75 of the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, pertaining delay in filing of GSTR-3B return for the month of July, 2017 and November, 2017 by Dalmia Cement East, which has since been merged with DCBL. The Order has been received on August 7, 2025 at 12:42 PM.
