FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 14 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12994.81 crore against gross selling of Rs 15259.19 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2264.38 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 5769.79 crore with gross sales of Rs 1487.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4281.91 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1758.63 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 107.59 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2415.69 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9.16 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.62 crore in hybrid segment.
