National Fertilizers gets nod to invest Rs 572.45 crore towards equity capital to AVFCCL

The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on November 11, 2025 has, inter alia, accorded its consent for the same

National Fertilizers has received approval for investment of Rs 572.45 crore towards equity capital to joint venture company, Assam Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company (AVFCCL) for setting up of a new Ammonia-Urea Complex Namrup-IV Fertilizer Plant at Namrup, Assam. The tentative overall time schedule for mechanical completion and commissioning of Namrup-IV Project is 48 months from zero date. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on November 11, 2025 has, inter alia, accorded its consent for the same.

National Fertilizers is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Neem Coated Urea, four strains of Bio-Fertilizers (solid & liquid), Bentonite Sulphur and other allied Industrial products like Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite and Sodium Nitrate.
