Tata Chemicals, HUDCO and Tata Power Company to see some action today

Rail Vikas Nigam has been emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from North Eastern Railway

Tata Chemicals has received approval to invest Rs 135 crore towards expansion of dense soda ash manufacturing capacity at its plant located at Mithapur. The company will add a 350 kilo tonnes per annum capacity of dense soda ash. Further, the company has received approval to invest Rs 775 crore towards expansion of precipitated silica manufacturing capacity at its plant located at Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. The board of directors of the company in their meeting held on November 21, 2025 has approved the same.

Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IDFC Foundation. Through this non-binding MoU, both parties intend to collaborate on capacity development initiatives for the urban sector in India. The collaboration aims at strengthening technical, financial, and leadership capacities across urban institutions, provide training and technical support for the implementation of national urban programmes/ schemes and HUDCO'’s Urban Invest Window (UiWIN).

Tata Power Company has signed Commercial Agreements with Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC) for the implementation of the 1,125 MW Dorjilung project. The Project will be implemented through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), with DGPC and Tata Power holding equity shares of 60% and 40%, respectively. The Run-of-the-River project, comprising six units of 187.5 MW each, is being developed on the Kurichhu River in Mongar, Bhutan. Designed with a six-hour pondage for peaking, Dorjilung represents a major step forward in expanding clean, reliable hydropower in the region. Tata Power has committed an equity investment of approximately Rs 1,572 crore to be infused in tranches as per the agreed structure.

Rail Vikas Nigam has been emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from North Eastern Railway for Design, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of OHE modification and feeder wire work of 2x25 kV traction system for capacity upgradation of UTR-MWP section (184 RKM/368 TKM) in Lucknow division of Northern Railway. Cost of work is Rs 180.78 crore including applicable taxes. The said order is expected to be completed in 24 months.

H.G. Infra Engineering (HGINFRA) jointly with Kalpataru Projects International has been declared as L-1 bidder by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation in a Joint Venture bidding. HGINFRA has 40% share and Kalpataru Projects International Limited has 60% share in the Joint Venture for project of ‘Design and Construction of Elevated Metro Viaduct of length 20.527 kms between UG Ramp and Balkum Naka including Depot Approach Viaduct and three Special Spans for Thane Integral Ring Metro Project.’ Bid project cost is Rs 1415 crore including taxes (GST as applicable). Construction period is 36 months.

NBCC (India) has bagged two orders amounting around Rs 71.86 crore (Excluding GST). The company has bagged first order worth Rs 29.49 crore from National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the Construction of a New Campus for Composite Regional Centre (CRC) at Pudhupatti, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The company has bagged another order worth Rs 42.37 crore from National Horticulture Board for Planning, designing and execution of International Potato Centre (CIP), Agra and other Misc. Works of National Horticulture Board.
