Currency futures for December expiry trade weaker with 3.21% decrease in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 89.4825, weaker compared to its Thursday’s close at 89.3625. The rupee opened at 89.4125 and touched day’s high of 89.4825 and low of 89.41.
The December currency futures were trading at 89.5975 with a spread of 0.0025 and a volume of 3,12,515. The contract opened at 89.49 weaker from its previous closing of 89.4825. The open interest (OI) stood at 13,76,617 down by 3.21% compared to its previous close of 14,22,250.
