Goa Carbon informs about new order
Goa Carbon has informed that Goa Carbon has received an Order giving effect u/s 250 bearing DIN ITBA/GEA/M/250/2025-26/1082940316(1), dated 20th November 2025 issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax Department, Circle 1(1), Panaji - Goa for the Assessment Year 2010-11. The above Order has been passed to give consequential effect of the Order of the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay at Goa for AY 2009-10, whereby closing stock AY 2009-10 was increased and accordingly opening stock for AY 2010-11 was adjusted and thereby reducing taxable profits for said AY. Accordingly, a refund of Rs. 0.76 crore has been granted by the Income Tax Department. The said order has been received by the Company on its registered email id on 4thDecember 2025.
