EIH informs about disclosure
EIH has informed that this disclosure is made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The Deputy Commissioner, Delhi vide its order dated 17th December 2025 has levied a penalty of Rs 57,98,473 under Section 74 of the Central Goods and Service Tax Act, 2017 on Maidens Hotel, a hotel of the Company. The said penalty is in relation to non-payment of GST under Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) on import of services, with respect to commission paid to foreign travel agents, during FY 2018-2019 to FY 2022-2023. An appeal against the said order shall be filed within the prescribed statutory time limit of three months. The copy of the order was received on 17th December 2025 at 8:04 PM. The financial impact of the aforesaid order is to the extent of the penalty imposed.
