Airfloa Rail Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Janatics Industrial Automation for the development, supply, and implementation of the Automatic Door Systems (Viz- Automatic Door Systems includes Double leaf Plug Doors for freight EMU, Automatic Single leaf plug Door for freight EMU, Automatic Single leaf plug Door for Vande Bharat, Pocket Sliding Door and Automatic Fire Barrier Door).

Under this MoU, Janatics will be manufacturing and supplying advanced Automatic Door Systems to the company to be used by the company in executing the orders received from Railways as per the terms as agreed between the parties. Janatics will be the technology and Manufacturing partner in respect of Automatic Door System products involving core technologies such as EDCU, Mechanical drive, structure, locking and sealing etc as per all railway approvals. During the subsistence of this MoU, only Airfloa shall participate in the tenders involving Automatic Door System Products (being the Front-end partner responsible for receiving orders). Airfloa will purchase the Automatic Door systems and products covered under this MoU only from Janatics for supplies to be made under the tender. 

This strategic MoU provides Airfloa access to an additional door system technology platform, strengthening its product portfolio and enhancing its ability to participate in both standalone component tenders and turnkey railway projects, which are in-line with the Company’s existing profitability framework.

Airfloa Rail Technology is engaged in the manufacturing of components which are used in the rolling stock for the Indian Railways through railway production units like Integral Coach Factory (ICF), other coach factories.
