Sambhv Steel Tubes along with arm enters into MoU with Ministry of Steel
The company and its wholly owned subsidiary have entered into a MoU for PLI 1.2 for Specialty Steel
Sambhv Steel Tubes and its wholly owned subsidiary -- Sambhv Tubes have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Steel (MoS), Government of India on February 09, 2026, for Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme (PLI 1.2) for Specialty Steel. Through this MoU, the company aims to participate in the Government of India’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme 1.2 for Specialty Steel by undertaking capacity addition for manufacturing Thin Precision Gauge Stainless Steel Sheets (0.18-0.4 mm thickness) with a committed unit capacity of 116000 tonnes per year and total committed investment of Rs 181.75 crore.
The investment is proposed to be made during financial years 2025- 26 to 2027-28 to establish and augment manufacturing facilities, achieve projected production targets, and comply with the guidelines, conditions, and requirements of the PLI Scheme in coordination with the Ministry of Steel, Government of India.
Sambhv Steel Tubes is principally engaged in the manufacturing of steel products like Sponge Iron, Blooms / Slabs, hot rolled (HR) Coil, electric resistance welded (ERW) black pipes and tubes, Captive power generation and the group is an integrated manufacturer of diverse range of steel products.
