FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per February 12 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19372.51 crore against gross selling of Rs 16259.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3112.85 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 878.06 crore with gross sales of Rs 847.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 30.58 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 192.77 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 308.14 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 84.79 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14.57 crore against gross selling of Rs 22.95 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8.38 crore in hybrid segment.
