Thyrocare Technologies moves up on making additional investment in Thyrocare Tanzania

The capital infusion in Thyrocare Tanzania has been made to facilitate its business operations and working capital requirements

Thyrocare Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 403.30, up by 4.00 points or 1.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 399.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 399.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 405.50 and Rs. 399.05 respectively. So far 955 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 537.43 on 17-Nov-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 219.11 on 04-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 422.95 and Rs. 383.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6,418.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.46% and 13.61% respectively. 

Thyrocare Technologies has made an additional investment of $4,75,000 (equivalent to Rs 4.32 crore) in Thyrocare Laboratories (Tanzania) (Thyrocare Tanzania), subsidiary of the company by subscribing to Compulsorily Convertible Irredeemable Preference Shares (CCPS). 

The total investment made by the Company till date (including this tranche of $4,75,000) amounts to $11,50,020 (equivalent to Rs 10.01 crore). The remaining capital infusion will be made by the company in one or more tranches, depending on Thyrocare Tanzania’s business requirements. 

The capital infusion in Thyrocare Tanzania has been made to facilitate its business operations and working capital requirements. Thyrocare Tanzania's business is similar to the company’s main line of business viz. diagnostic and healthcare services.
