Bajaj Auto declines despite reporting 27% rise in February sales
Total domestic sales (two-wheelers + commercial vehicles) increased by 27% to 2,32,581 units in February 2026
Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 9730.60, down by 238.35 points or 2.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 9968.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 9652.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9920.00 and Rs. 9652.50 respectively. So far 4727 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10186.60 on 26-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7088.25 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 10186.60 and Rs. 9652.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 271727.80 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.90% and 22.11% respectively.
Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 27% in total sales (domestic + exports) to 4,48,259 units in February 2026 as against 3,52,071 in the same month last year. Total domestic sales (two-wheelers + commercial vehicles) increased by 27% to 2,32,581 units in February 2026 as compared to 1,83,415 units in February 2025. The total exports (two-wheelers + commercial vehicles) increased by 28% to 2,15,678 units in February 2026 as compared to 1,68,656 units in February 2025.
Total domestic two-wheelers sales increased by 27% to 1,86,164 units in February 2026 as compared to 1,46,138 units in the year-ago month. The total domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles increased by 25% at 46,417 units in February 2026 as against 37,277 units in February 2025.
Meanwhile, total exports of two-wheelers increased by 26% to 1,93,757 units in February 2026 as compared to 1,53,280 units in the year-ago month. The total exports of Commercial Vehicles increased by 43% at 21,921 units in February 2026 as against 15,376 units in February 2025.
