Oswal Pumps’ arm secures order worth Rs 39.40 crore

The order is for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 7.46 MWp rooftop solar systems

Oswal Pumps’ wholly owned subsidiary-- Oswal Solar Energy has secured an order from Swashakthi Energy for the supply, installation, and commissioning of 7.46 MWp rooftop solar systems. The order, valued at Rs 39.40 crore (inclusive of GST), positions the company to enter the rooftop solar segment, creating a strategic pathway for participation under the Government of India’s flagship initiative, PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.

Swashakthi Energy has been awarded 7.46 MWp of Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar (RTS) projects by the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) under the Surya Ghar scheme. As part of this allocation, Swashakthi Energy has assigned Oswal Solar Energy for fulfilment of the order.

The scope of this order includes complete Design, Engineering, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of7.46 MWp grid-connected rooftop solar systems, along with a five-year Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC). These systems will be installed for 3,729 SC & ST consumers across the Pulivendula and Puttaparthy divisions under APSPDCL in Andhra Pradesh. With this project, Oswal Pumps takes an important step forward in expanding its presence into solar energy solutions and supporting the nation’s sustainable growth ambitions.

Oswal Pumps manufactures solar-powered and grid-connected submersible and monoblock pumps, electric motors comprising induction and submersible motors as well as solar modules, which it sells under the ‘Oswal’ brand.
