FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 39599.89 crore against gross selling of Rs 45067.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5467.47 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3143.14 crore with gross sales of Rs 2238.43 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 904.71 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 553.63 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 501.22 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1959.56 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 81.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 111.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 30.04 crore in hybrid segment.
