FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 04 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13386.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 16374.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2988.65 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 8710.05 crore with gross sales of Rs 7559.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1150.24 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1113.71 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 123.88 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 160.41 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14.15 crore against gross selling of Rs 49.19 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 35.04 crore in hybrid segment.
