With reference its earlier disclosures dated 31st January 2026 and dated 02nd March 2026 made to BSE regarding the demand of the payment of Entry Tax on Audi Car imported in the year 2006 alongwith the Penalty and Interest thereon by the Assitant Commissioner (ST), Tirupur Central -1 Assessment Circle, Tirupur and the writ petition filed at Hon’ble High Court of Madras against the said demand respectively, Velan Hotels has informed further that the Hon’ble High Court of Madras disposed of the writ petition and passed the following order. 1. The Company has the liberty to file an Appeal before the Appellate Authority within a period of 30 days from the date of order. 2. The recovery the Entry Tax on the imported Audi Car (in 2006) alongwith the Penalty and Interest thereon shall be kept in abeyance for a period of 60 days from the order. 3. The Company to secure an appropriate order from the Appellate Authority to stay further recovery thereafter. The Company shall, with respect to disclosures as referred above, make disclosures updating material developments on a regular basis, till such time the event is resolved / closed, with relevant explanations.
