FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 12 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12624.03 crore against gross selling of Rs 18535.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5911.90 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1164.53 crore with gross sales of Rs 3572.82 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2408.29 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 290.22 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1404.29 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 713.78 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 44.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 26.87 crore in hybrid segment.
