FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 23752.55 crore against gross selling of Rs 34718.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10965.74 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1619.07 crore with gross sales of Rs 4121.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2502.25 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 288.24 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 44.28 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2169.73 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 248.83 crore against gross selling of Rs 131.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 117.05 crore in hybrid segment.
