ACME Solar Holdings, Coal India and IRFC to see some action today

KPIT Technologies has completed the transfer of its 26% stake in N-Dream to KPIT Technologies (UK)

ACME Solar Holdings, through its various subsidiaries, has commissioned additional 155 MW / 470.25 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). With this, the company’s total commissioned BESS capacity stands at 297.67 MW / 951.74 MWh, out of total planned BESS capacity of 835 MW / 3,114.64 MWh across these SPVs. 

Coal India’s board has approved the proposal for incorporation of an Intermediate Holding Company (IHC) at Singapore to explore and develop overseas opportunities in the field of critical minerals asset acquisition, enable an efficient management of overseas investments, and provide structural flexibility for future acquisitions. 

Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) has signed a major Rupee Term Loan agreement with Hindustan Urvarak and Rasayan (HURL) for the refinancing of its existing long-term debt up to Rs 12,842 crore. This transaction represents one of IRFC’s largest refinancing initiatives and marks a significant step forward in advancing its strategic vision under IRFC 2.0, anchored in a whole-of-government approach.

KPIT Technologies has completed the transfer of its 26% stake in N-Dream to KPIT Technologies (UK), a wholly owned subsidiary. Following this transaction, KPIT UK now holds a 90% stake in N Dream, resulting in N Dream becoming a step-down subsidiary of KPIT India. The purpose of this transfer is to achieve parity and restructure within the KPIT group’s organizational structure. KPIT group’s overall holding in N-Dream remains unchanged at 90%. 

Birla Corporation’s wholly-owned subsidiary -- RCCPL has commissioned the third line of production at its Kundanganj unit, scaling up production capacity by 1.4 million tons (mt). Post this expansion, Birla Corporation’s consolidated production capacity stands at 21.4 mt, and, as announced by the company earlier, it is to be further expanded to 27.6 mt by 2028-29. The estimated cost of the Kundanganj expansion is around Rs 300 crore. 

Astral’s wholly Owned Subsidiary --  Al-Aziz Plastics has been granted a patent by the Patent office Government of India for an invention titled ‘Multiport Water Outlet’ for the term of 20 years commencing from November 01, 2021 in accordance with the provisions of the Patents Act, 1970. The Multiport Saddle provides multiple household connections from a single tapping, with flexible outlet configurations and assured equal distribution--optionally supported by an inbuilt flow-control valve.

Panorama Studios International’s subsidiary -- Panorama Studios Inflight LLP has executed an Assignment Agreement with Indywood Distribution Network to exploit the Airborne Rights (on an exclusive basis) for the entire world including India for cinematographic films titled ‘Apoorva Puthranmar’ and ‘Parannu Parannu Parannu Chellan’.
