FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 06 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11873.89 crore against gross selling of Rs 21343.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9469.61 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1889.89 crore with gross sales of Rs 7261.65 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5371.76 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 852.63 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 175.76 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 4343.37 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 40.99 crore against gross selling of Rs 72.01 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 31.02 crore in hybrid segment.
