FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 07 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8963.34 crore against gross selling of Rs 17600.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8636.75 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1319.18 crore with gross sales of Rs 6054.83 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4735.65 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1187.35 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 2646.70 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 901.60 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 14.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 0.34 crore in hybrid segment.
