FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 08 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9344.31 crore against gross selling of Rs 16154.05 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 6809.74 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4237.76 crore with gross sales of Rs 4276.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 38.64 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1016.34 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1878.89 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 901.19 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12.68 crore against gross selling of Rs 29.13 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 16.45 crore in hybrid segment.
