FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 15 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15738.91 crore against gross selling of Rs 17174.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1435.44 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2395.76 crore with gross sales of Rs 3018.82 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 623.06 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 809.53 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 387.34 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 573.81 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 59.84 crore against gross selling of Rs 26.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 33.18 crore in hybrid segment.
