Force Motors acquires Veera Tanneries for Rs 161.96 crore
VTPL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company
Force Motors has acquired Veera Tanneries (VTPL) for consideration of around Rs 161.96 crore for purchase of shareholding. For the same, the company has executed a Share Purchase Agreement involving the company, VTPL and shareholders of VTPL. Pursuant to the acquisition, VTPL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Earlier, the board of directors of the company in its meeting held on February 4, 2026 had approved the acquisition.
Force Motors is a Pune-based commercial vehicle maker. It is a fully vertically integrated automobile company, with expertise in design, development and manufacture of the full spectrum of automotive components, aggregates and vehicles.
