FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 29 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17440.82 crore against gross selling of Rs 19432.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1991.87 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2544.72 crore with gross sales of Rs 1602.05 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 942.67 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 103.36 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 292.92 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1338.95 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 64.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 122.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 58.21 crore in hybrid segment.
