Hindustan Zinc, Emcure Pharmaceuticals and Reliance Infrastructure to see some action today

KEI Industries has acquired Industrial Plot admeasuring 45964.92 Sqm from GIDC

Hindustan Zinc has bagged a potash block in Rajasthan. It has received a letter of intent from the Ministry of Mines for one of the first potash blocks in the country. The company secured the block under Tranche V of e-auction by the Central Government in the month of May 2025. The block is located in the Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan, covering an area of over 1,800 hectares.

Emcure Pharmaceuticals (Emcure) and Sanofi India (SIL) have entered into an exclusive distribution and promotion agreement for SIL’s oral anti-diabetic (OAD) products in India, effective immediately. Emcure will exclusively distribute and promote the Company’s OAD range of products that include well-established brands like Amaryl and Cetapin. While SIL will continue to own and manufacture these brands across Sanofi’s plants in India and internationally, Emcure will leverage its strengths to engage healthcare professionals and expand reach of these therapeutic solutions for patients who need them across all of India. 

Reliance Infrastructure’s board approved raising up to Rs 9,000 crore via various financial instruments. The company’s board approved seeking enabling authorisation from the members for raising funds up to Rs 6,000 crore. The fundraise will be through the issuance of equity shares and/or equity-linked instruments and/or other eligible securities to qualified institutional buyers by way of a Qualified Institutions Placement and /or follow-on public offer or a combination thereof. Further, it also gave its go-ahead to the issuance of secured/ unsecured, redeemable, non-convertible debentures up to Rs 3,000 crore, in one or more tranches, on a private placement basis or otherwise, the company said. The company’s board of directors, at its meeting held on July 16, 2025, approved the same. 

KEI Industries has acquired Industrial Plot admeasuring 45964.92 Sqm from Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) located at Plot No. 832 to 836 at Sanand-II, Industrial Estate, Ahmedabad, Gujarat for an amount of approximately Rs 23.05 crore which will be used for future expansion.

Godrej Properties has entered into Raipur with the acquisition of around 50 acres of land. The development on this land will primarily comprise premium plotted residential units and will offer an estimated saleable area of around 9.5 lakh square feet. Strategically located near Old Dhamtari Road, a rapidly growing real estate hub, the location provides good connectivity to Central Raipur, Raipur Railway Station, and Swami Vivekananda Airport.

Lupin has launched Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Suspension, 0.5%, in the United States (U.S.). Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Suspension, 0.5% is bioequivalent to Lotemax Ophthalmic Suspension, 0.5%, of Bausch & Lomb Inc. Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Suspension, 0.5% is indicated for the treatment of steroid responsive inflammatory conditions of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea and anterior segment of the globe such as allergic conjunctivitis, acne rosacea, superficial punctate keratitis, herpes zoster keratitis, iritis, cyclitis, selected infective conjunctivitides, when the inherent hazard of steroid use is accepted to obtain an advisable diminution in edema and inflammation.

Indian Hotels Company has acquired over 3.3 lakh equity shares through a rights issue in wholly-owned arm ELEL Hotel and Investment for over Rs 165 crore. ELEL Hotel and Investment holds the leasehold rights for the land parcel at Bandstand Bandra, under which Taj Bandstand is proposed to be developed.
