Lloyds Engineering Works, Wipro and Enviro Infra Engineers to see some action today

RailTel Corporation of India has received the work order from Central Coalfields

Lloyds Engineering Works (LEWL) has further enhanced its product offerings in the defence and naval sector by strengthening its strategic technological partnership with FINCANTIERI S.p.A, one of the world’s leading shipbuilding groups based in Italy. The collaboration builds on an existing agreement between the two companies for the joint design and production of Advanced Steering Gear Systems, Fin Stabilizer Systems, Azimuthal Thrusters, and Transversal Tunnel Thrusters.

Wipro has entered into multi-year strategic contract from Saudi Electric Company – National Grid SA. Wipro will implement a Smart Meter Data Management (MDM) system for the transmission network to modernize the client’s meter data platform, enhance operational efficiencies, and better manage risks. Wipro will design, develop, implement, and support the infrastructure and smart applications for the new MDM system. Through continuous monitoring, the system will improve grid stability by providing real-time data on power flow, voltage, and equipment data.

Enviro Infra Engineers has strengthened its foot hold in the Reuse Treatment Technologies including Tertiary Treatment and Ultrafiltration Technologies. The company has secured two prestigious projects from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). The first project is for EPC of 20 MLD STP with Tertiary Treatment Facility followed by Ultrafiltration system for 10 MLD, along with Operation & Maintenance thereof for ten years. The second project is for EPC of 15 MLD STP with Tertiary Treatment Facility followed by Ultrafiltration system for 7.5 MLD, along with Operation & Maintenance thereof for ten years. 

RailTel Corporation of India has received the work order from Central Coalfields (CCL) for Work Order amounting to Rs 40.20 crore (Including Tax). The order is for 8.4 Gbps Internet at CCL. The said order is expected to be completed by November 23, 2025. 

Sonata Software has entered into partnership with the Wharton AI & Analytics Initiative (WAIAI) at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. The collaboration aims to foster innovation and research in the emerging field of agentic AI, which will bring together academic and industry perspectives on enterprise‑grade AI orchestration. Sonata Software and WAIAI will co-host a one-day academic convening in Fall 2025 centered on agentic AI. The event will facilitate discussions on opportunities and challenges through academic-industry dialogue.  

eMudhra Inc, a subsidiary of eMudhra, has entered into an agreement dated July 24, 2025 for acquisition of 100% stake in AI Cyber Forge Inc, USA, having expertise in secrets management, just-in-time credentials, PKI automation, and encryption services. Acquisition of AI Cyberforge Inc would expand eMudhra’s product offerings and enable it to compete globally as a one stop shop for cyber security products around PKI. It will also add to eMudhra’s customer base in USA. The acquisition is being made for an immediate cash consideration of $4.8 million.

Aeroflex Enterprises has acquired an additional 13% equity stake in M.R. Organisation (MRO), pursuant to the Share Purchase Agreement dated July 27, 2024. This marks the second tranche of the acquisition as per the terms committed in the original agreement, thereby reinforcing Aeroflex’s strategic intent and long-term partnership with MRO.
