Currency futures for August expiry trade stronger with 0.50% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 87.59, weaker compared to its Friday’s close at 87.58. The rupee opened at 87.56 and touched day’s high of 87.60 and low of 87.4825.
The August currency futures were trading at 87.6550 with a spread of 0.0100 and a volume of 30,472. The contract opened at 87.58 stronger from its previous closing of 87.70. The open interest (OI) stood at 8,90,914 up by 0.50% compared to its previous close of 8,86,502.
