FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13933.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 13945.72 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 12.27 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3308.90 crore with gross sales of Rs 3502.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 193.60 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 55.94 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 601.58 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 352.04 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 24.33 crore against gross selling of Rs 36.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 12.07 crore in hybrid segment.
