FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 29 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16426.21 crore against gross selling of Rs 22514.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 6088.23 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3054.91 crore with gross sales of Rs 3081.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 26.41 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 86.91 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 857.81 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 918.31 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 49.76 crore against gross selling of Rs 78.03 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 28.27 crore in hybrid segment.
