NTPC Green Energy inches up as its arm starts commercial operation at Khavda-I Solar PV Project

The total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group increased to 7639.075 MW

NTPC Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 98.25, up by 0.05 points or 0.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 98.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 98.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 98.90 and Rs. 98.05 respectively. So far 112418 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 155.30 on 04-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 84.60 on 03-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 99.45 and Rs. 98.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 82620.16 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.42% and 4.58% respectively.

NTPC Green Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary -- NTPC Renewable Energy has started commercial operation of part capacity of 75.5 MW out of 1255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project under CPSU scheme Phase-II Tranche-III located in Gujarat.

With the addition of this capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group increased to 7639.075 MW.

The company is mainly engaged in the activity of developing, building, owning, operating and maintaining utility scale grid connected solar and wind power projects (through O&M operations and in-house engineering).
