Physical Rubber prices extended gains on Tuesday, led by supply crunch as major rubber-producing regions enter the off-season for tapping, while strong demand from major consuming sectors has also supported sentiments. The global demand for natural rubber projected to exceed production for the sixth consecutive year in 2026.
Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 219/kg to its previous closing of Rs 217/kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 214/kg to its previous closing of Rs 212/kg.
