Currency futures for March expiry trade stronger with 1.49% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 90.8950, stronger compared to its Wednesday’s close at 90.91. The rupee opened at 90.86 and touched day’s high of 90.9025 and low of 90.81.
The March currency futures were trading at 91.03 with a spread of 0.0100 and a volume of 40,390. The contract opened at 91.0850 stronger from its previous closing of 91.0975. The open interest (OI) stood at 10,89,868 up by 1.49% compared to its previous close of 10,73,827.
