BJP will win West Bengal polls drive out every single infiltrator Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah exuded confidence that the BJP will win the upcoming assembly polls in West Bengal, and ‘drive out every single infiltrator’ from the state after coming to power.

Addressing a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) function in Bihar’s Araria district, Shah said, ‘Elections are around the corner in West Bengal. I am confident that the BJP is going to win. Upon formation of the new government, we shall drive out every single infiltrator’.

The Home Minister emphasised that the process of flushing out infiltrators will begin in Bihar, especially in the Seemanchal region. He noted that the NDA’s victory in the state's assembly polls last year served as a mandate for this specific agenda, despite vocal opposition.

Shah said infiltration is a threat to national security, and infiltrators also threaten the demographic balance of an area, feed on ration, and avail other benefits meant for common people. He said Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Assam are the most vulnerable to such ‘demographic disturbance’.

Amit Shah further said Narendra Modi government is committed to maintain demographic balance. Modi government at the Centre has decided to set up a high-powered committee to study and ‘undo demographic change’, by identifying the most vulnerable areas.

Shah began his speech by paying tributes to freedom fighter and Hindutva icon Vinayak Damodar Sawarkar on his death anniversary. Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary were also present with him.
