FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 13 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16081.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 23457.02 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7375.05 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2682.23 crore with gross sales of Rs 2601.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 80.29 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 503.92 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 87.89 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 511.52 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 38.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 37.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 0.97 crore in hybrid segment.
