Currency futures for April expiry trade weaker with 9.65% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 93.87, weaker compared to its Friday’s close at 93.5350. The rupee opened at 93.8475 and touched day’s high of 93.95 and low of 93.81.
The April currency futures were trading at 94.32 with a spread of 0.0025 and a volume of 51,305. The contract opened at 94.05 weaker from its previous closing of 94.0025. The open interest (OI) stood at 2,00,276 up by 9.65% compared to its previous close of 1,82,643.
