M&M surges on reporting 21% rise in overall auto sales in March 2026

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 60,272 vehicles in the domestic market in March 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 3042.60, up by 86.45 points or 2.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 2956.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3051.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3069.25 and Rs. 3028.00 respectively. So far 75345 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3840.00 on 05-Jan-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2360.45 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3157.70 and Rs. 2943.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 376988.20 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.44%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 68.00% and 13.56% respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a 21% rise in overall auto sales (including exports) at 99,969 vehicles for the month of March 2026. In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold 60,272 vehicles in the domestic market in March 2026 as compared to 48,048 vehicles in the domestic market in March 2025, a growth of 25%. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 24,928, a growth of 11%.

The financial year concluded with all time high volumes of 6,60,276 sport utility vehicle (SUVs) and 2,89,597 light commercial vehicles (LCVs) (<3.5T), delivering robust YoY growth of 20% and 13%, respectively, across both segments.
