Welspun Enterprises has informed that Welspun Aunta-Simaria Project, subsidiary of the Company (‘the subsidiary company’), has received a Notice of Demand under Section 156 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, pursuant to Assessment Order passed by the Assessment Unit, National Faceless Assessment Centre, Income-tax Department (‘AO’). Based on the Company assessment, the aforesaid demand is not maintainable and the Company is taking appropriate steps to file an appeal before the Commissioner of Income-tax (Appeals) Tribunal against the Order issued by AO. Further, the Company does not foresee any material impact on financial, operational or other activities of the Company. The details as required under Part A of Schedule III under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations read with SEBI Master Circular No. HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/I/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026, is enclosed as ‘Annexure-A’.
