Unichem Laboratories’ wholly-owned-subsidiary -- Unichem Pharmaceuticals (USA), Inc. has voluntarily recalled 500-count bottles of Buspirone Hydrochloride Tablets, USP (5 mg), distributed in the United States. Unichem Pharmaceuticals (USA) has recalled the product after out-of-specification (OOS) assay result identified at the 12-month long-term stability time point.
Unichem has not received any reports of any adverse events related to this recall to date. The company places the highest priority on ensuring patient safety and maintaining product quality throughout every stage of its manufacturing and supply chain processes.
