NTPC Green Energy’s JV’s arm to start commercial operation of 150 MW Solar capacity in Rajasthan
With the addition of the above, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group will increase to 10,276.40 MW
NTPC Green Energy’s joint venture (JV) - ONGC NTPC Green’s step-down subsidiary -- Project Sixteen Renewable Power is all set to commence commercial operation of the capacity of 150 MW Solar out of the total installed capacity of 300 MW Solar Project located in Rajasthan on April 18, 2026.
The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Group stands at 10,126.40 MW. With the addition of the above, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Group will increase to 10,276.40 MW.
NTPC Green Energy is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, a ‘Maharatna’ central public sector enterprise. The company is mainly engaged in the activity of developing, building, owning, operating and maintaining utility scale grid connected solar and wind power projects (through O&M operations and in-house engineering).
