FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12983.92 crore against gross selling of Rs 15453.59 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2469.67 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3605.34 crore with gross sales of Rs 1350.27 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2255.07 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 83.09 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 84.34 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2422.50 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.88 crore against gross selling of Rs 166.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 147.80 crore in hybrid segment.
