Physical Rubber prices extend gains on Saturday
Physical rubber prices extended gains on Saturday due to robust demand from the automotive and tyre sectors, while continued domestic supply shortages also supported sentiments. Moreover, increasing costs of synthetic alternatives also reinforced the upward movement in natural rubber prices.
Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety gained to Rs 241/kg to its previous closing of Rs 240/kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose to Rs 237/kg to its previous closing of Rs 236/kg.
