Physical Rubber prices witnessed gains on Monday driven by strong demand from the automotive and tyre industries. Higher production costs for synthetic alternatives and looming scarcity of raw materials in both domestic and global markets added the upward trend.
Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 243/kg to its previous closing of Rs 241.00/kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 239.00/kg to its previous closing of Rs 237.00/kg.
