Currency futures for May expiry trade weaker with 31.96% increase in OI
The partially convertible rupee is currently trading at 94.48, weaker compared to its Monday’s close at 94.15. The rupee opened at 94.3550 and touched day’s high of 94.4825 and low of 94.35.
The May currency futures were trading at 94.75 with a spread of 0.0025 and a volume of 6,09,683. The contract opened at 94.52 weaker from its previous closing of 94.4750. The open interest (OI) stood at 11,82,292 up by 31.96% compared to its previous close of 8,95,960.
