Nexus Venture Partners through its affiliates -- Nexus Opportunity Fund II and Nexus Ventures III has divested 4.63% stake in India Shelter Finance Corporation for Rs 425 crore through open market transactions. The shares were sold in the price range of Rs 850.85 to Rs 850.88 apiece, taking the combined deal value to Rs 425.45 crore. Subsequently, the shareholding of Nexus Venture Partners in India Shelter Finance Corporation has come down to 10.62% from 15.25% earlier.

Meanwhile, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund (MF) has bought 45.28 lakh shares, reflecting a 4.2% stake in India Shelter for Rs 385 crore. The shares were bought at an average price of Rs 850.87 apiece on the exchange. 

India Shelter Finance Corporation is a Housing Finance Company. The Group is engaged in providing secured retail home loans, home equity loans and loans against property to borrowers for a period up to twenty years.
