Tata Power moves up as its JV signs MoU with IIMK

MoU aims to skill professionals in the solar energy sector

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 401.50, up by 0.65 points or 0.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 400.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 401.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 405.50 and Rs. 398.35 respectively. So far 283501 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 494.85 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 326.25 on 17-Feb-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 406.50 and Rs. 396.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 128197.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.58% and 27.55% respectively.

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDL), a joint venture (JV) between Tata Power and the Government of NCT of Delhi, has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) to skill professionals in the solar energy sector.  

The collaboration aims to jointly develop and deliver domain-specific capability-building programmes, executive education, and applied research initiatives tailored to the evolving needs of the power distribution sector. It will also include national and international consultancy projects, industry-academic workshops, and immersive study tours. Additionally, the strategic partnership will support upskilling and reskilling of professionals, faculty development, and customised training modules to promote leadership and functional excellence in the power distribution sector.
